92%? Really? Is this season going to really suck that bad for the Big 12?

Those numbers total 194, which would mean that Kansas, Tech, Iowa State and West Virginia (who went 7-2 in conference last season) would all have to split the remaining 6% chance to finish in the top 2.

I'm gonnna go out on a limb and suggest those percentages were just somebody's WAG.

Yeah, same article gave OU 77% chance of winning the conference. Just seems high to me.

I do not know if I buy 92% for OU, but they definitely have a high percentage. They return a lot of key members from their defense, a lot of offensive linemen, and Baker Mayfield. However much we do not like him; he has been a great college QB for them. They have won the conference 10 out of the 20 years the conference has existed including the last two. I would figure they have a really high percentage chance to come in the top 2 of the conference and make it to Dallas.

35% for TCU seems pretty good. After the season we had last year if somebody told me that we had a 35% chance of playing for the conference championship I would be excited. I am a TCU homer, but I am also a realist. I do not see how we have a 35% chance while OSU only has a 20% chance. They are going to be really really good. I would have them second in the conference after OU.

WAGs are worth a few clicks, and they keep me entertained while I sit in the examination room waiting for doctor

52 minutes and counting...

Go Frogs!

We return almost everyone. The question is if that's good or not.

Yep, this. Who knows.

Unfortunately this is an odd year so we have the pleasure of getting destroyed by Oky State in Stillwater and lose a close battle to OU in Norman. Not to mention having to play at Arkansas, KState and going to Lubbock.

I hope some kind of shakeup happens so that we can change this unbalanced schedule.

Yeah for real. Hate that we have to double up in Oklahoma every other year. However, it is great when we get both of those teams at home. Those are the two most consistent Big 12 programs over the past 5 years, so getting to play both of them at home the same year is great advantage to win the conference. However, it makes winning the conference the other year extremely difficult.

It reminds me of the MWC days:
-TCU would always have BYU or Utah and home and the other away.
-Utah would have both TCU and BYU at home or both on the road
-BYU would have both TCU and BYU at home the years Utah had both on the road and both on the road the years Utah had both at home.

It sucked because we would always have a really hard road game every year while Utah/BYU would have a hard year followed by an easy year. This meant we always had a harder road to the conference championship than either Utah or BYU. We never had the easiest road to the championship while BYU/Utah would have the easiest road every other year.

Doctors are the worst. No other profession/business gets away with that level of crap customer service.
Yeah, and when I walk into my dentist's office, the hygienist is standing at door waiting to escort me directly to the chair for teeth cleaning.

If the dentist can be that time efficient, I don't understand why the doctor can't at least do better than an hour's wait for a five-minute consult.

If I ran my business like that, I wouldn't have any business.

Go Frogs!

The question becomes, why do you continue to give that doctor your business? Plenty of doctors out there that don't have hour long waits.
Yeah, the wife gives me heat about that too.

I like the doctor. It just takes too long to see her.

Go Frogs!
