Agreed, the cheers Tom Hanks character got from the grateful soldiers on the Transports was all the thanks Greyhound got in the end—just glad to be alive. My dad was one of those many protected across the Atlantic.
If you liked that movie try "Action in the North Atlantic" with Humphrey Bogart or "The Enemy Below" with Robert Mitcham and Curt Jurgens.
