Enough With the Melt Down Threads

Cool it with the melt down threads.

Too many here are getting amped up over a story that we have no real details on. Every new report is just a click bait quoting another report quoting a source that nobody can name. In what is supposed to be the most secretive of process, we are supposed to buy that they would totally clue in bloggers?

Texas and OU will announce whatever they plan. If they go to the SEC, they'll end up like aggy ... basically topping out about 4th in the conference.

If they leave, the Big 12 can go after other power 5 teams. There are several that are big names that would move. So cool it with the "oh, no, back to mtn west, etc."

We have great facilities and money. We'll be fine. We have a considerable amount of wins that also make us attractive to other power 5 conferences.

If Texas can't handle that we have owned them in football since joining this conference, that is there weak kneed, chicken [ Finebaum ], sissy [ hundin] problem.

I believe much of what you say is correct, but I don’t believe the Pac12 is going to be the PAC 12 you know today.
The Big10 will try to be competitive with SEC and will move to acquire more quality schools. For instance, why would they take Iowa St. and K State when they could steal Oregon/Washington. I could see the B10 stealing 2 to 4 premier Pac12 teams and making a pitch for Clemson & ND.

Seems like: Pac12 leftovers + B12 leftovers = New B level P5 conference.

How do you see it?
