There will be no discourse about young quarterback Shawn Robinson’s untimely transgressions in the TCU losses to Texas and Ohio State.

Says diplomat/head coach Gary Patterson, husband of Mrs. Patterson.

“Less is better when you're having conversations,” Patterson said Tuesday.

“It works for me at home. It works with quarterbacks.”

I am a big Shawn Robinson supporter. He has tremendous upside. But, he has got to make some drastic changes on protecting the ball. We forget that he lost 4 balls against TT last year. We were lucky to recover 3 of them back and go on to win the game. Hopefully he is maturing on this. It does take time.

Now that his shoulder injury is public knowledge, does it change your thinking regarding his starting or playing time?

Tweak his footwork...but you already know that. That's common with most young and college QB's. Hard to reprogram muscle memory
