I hate to say this, but I really love how aggressive the gophers with their bats. There are times I wish we took more of an aggressive approach.

(Please note this does not mean I am cheering for the gophers. I just like their approach at the plate)

Minnesota is a good ball club and an older bunch. They play the small ball and the combine with our weak defense capitalize on it. Good hitting ballclub. Their pitching is not over powering but they make their pitches.

Scheduled for 1pm but probably will be something like 30 to an hour after game 1 ends.

Landestoy is not good enough for a 5th place hitter. Balta is. We really have 4 starters who simply can't hit at this level.

Baker needs to DH. His defense is not good. ML needs to play 1st, but not bat 5th. We have four 9th place hitters in this lineup.

This is all messed up. Second game starts 40 minutes after this one ends. If this one goes into extras, that makes it even later. Minn probably has a curfew, which could screw up the second game.
