Does anyone have any inside info on the cause of the outage? AT&T is hasn't stated anything about why tens of thousands of customers no longer have service.

I believe the issues reported by T-Mobile and Verizon users turned out to be caused by their inability to reach AT&T customers.More than just ATT.

my att work phone is SOS at the moment, but my verizon personal device is up and running.
no good info on why it happened, but I read it’s based in ATTs cross network connection (peering) system and that took down the bulk of the network somehow.
