Southwest just cancelled 2/3rds of their flights Today

Today's Dallas-Phoenix morning nonstop on SWA took off with no issues and is in the air. It's also looking green for the next few days. I know I can't rely on that...but fingers crossed.

So, Southwest is screwed for the next few days and no guarantees on any of the flights to Phoenix. I can't say why, but it's going to mess things up for all of the US and there is a very strong chance that it will affect things negatively till the 31st. I would start looking at driving. We have already rented an SUV and will have room for …….

I just booked a United flight from Houston. I've been a loyal 20 year SWA customer but no more. . . . If you booked Southwest find an alternative and find it fast.

Next SWA flight from DAL-PHX takes off in 1.5 hours and it is green and checking people in. SWA is liking the DAL-PHX nonstops and is trying to keep them. If you have a connecting itinerary though...good luck.
