Recruiting class is in total collapse. More decommits on the way. This is horrendous for recruiting.

At this rate of decommits by this time next week there will be - ZERO - commits for 2022 class just 2 weeks prior to (early) signing day. Keep in mind there isn’t much left anymore in way of decent recruits after early signing day.

TCU is bring negative recruited very very effectively and it’s devadtating.

Hiring COACH BILLY BLUE JEANS (Napier) from Central SW Louisiana Technical Teachers College and Auto Repair School isn’t going to fix this awful mess. Recruits won’t come back for Napier.

And........the recruits won’t come back for Dykes.

EVERY DECOMMIT RECRUIT HOWEVER HAS STATED THEY WOULD RECOMMIT FOR SANDERS.

TCU now has no choice. Have to hire Sanders. No other way out of this awful mess.

Gonna lose some great players to Transfer Portal also. Gonna beca stampede at end of season......,,,.UNLESS.........Sanders is hired.

Some of you are very much against Sanders. I say.......

1) Good Coach
2) as former NFL Hall of Famer he has great respect from players
3) great recruiter who can save Tcu’s present talent and bring in great future talent
4) would get entire nations attention by hiring him
5) some of top coaches in football really like him a lot (Saban, Swinney, Jimbo, Herm Edwards, etc)

Lots o groups to appease. Deion doesn’t need the money. He makes $300k now. Pay him $500k+ to be DC and recruit like hell and navigate NIL. Make Dykes the offensive-minded head coach ADJD and university seek. Would probably make donors feel better too, rather than Sanders. Had also worked with Meach. Deion being a helluva DB could potentially be good as DC. If not, you don’t have him locked in as head coach. Or if he’s great, he could eventually replace Dykes. Another option would be a similar setup but with Napier/Sanders instead of Dykes/Sanders.‍

I also think Sanders should be a consideration. Sanders brings positivity and confidence. Look how this team played when allowed to do so without the fear of making a mistake. They were also looked very fresh this game, maybe a result of practice time and banging heads reduced by Kill last week. I don’t need the X’s and O’s of Landry or Lombardi, hire good coordinators for that. TCU needs a leader that can recruit the best talent, motivate and develop that talent, and manage the team and games.

Say TCU's total staff budget was $10 million. Say Deion (who doesn't need the money) took $1 million. What kind of staff could he put together with the ability to pay more than most anyone else?

Bring Glenn Schumann home to Texas as the DC?
Give Tom Herman his ticket back into College Football as the OC?

Maybe Prime would just look to bring his staff with him or bring in NFL connections. Or maybe while doing those commercials with Saban...Nick taught him a thing or two about putting a staff together, being the CEO, being the closer on the recruiting trail, etc.

For me, if Deion is really in consideration, then it's all about what his staff looks like. I don't want Deion and his buddies. I want Deion the recruiter and a killer staff of successful college coaches. Then you aren't as worried about the coaching side of things because you have a top notch staff. You aren't at square one if/when he bolts for FSU or just hangs it up because you have built a staff with ready made replacements when that time comes. You aren't terrified that he is going to get you hammered by the NCAA because you have a staff that knows what can and can't be done and because some of that excess money you save on Deion you pump into the best compliance officers you can find.

Deion is a crazy idea. Deion most likely isn't a real option. Deion has a very real chance of epically blowing up in your face.

But Deion would be about as exciting as it gets, even if only for a short time...and Deion with a real staff...that would be scary for anyone on TCU's schedule.
