Stillwater tomorrow

Looks like good weather tomorrow, temps in the low 50's with light wind.

OSU has one of those rare stadiums that run East-West instead of the usual North-South. Actually ACS runs Northwest to Southeast, but still in basically a N-S type setup. Can't figure the sun direction, though. I always thought there was a disadvantage moving with the sun to your back because the receivers have to look back into the sun. With the sun being to the South a little (252 degrees at sunset), maybe it won't be a big factor.

Any thoughts about any effects of the elements, if any on the game. Wind and temp should be a non-factor...just thinking about the sun and shadows in the stadium.

Ultimately a clean weather game is helpful to us assuming Wallace is out. Will allow our offense to have the entire playbook. OSU will be a little restricted to the run game regardless of weather.

Although it's Stillwater, I like our chances. Maybe putting too much emphasis on the Texas game outcome, but damn, Duggan looked good, and Barber, just 1 player, really opens the playbook. Safeties have to stay back or it's dime time and then Anderson and Max running the ball for some big plays - gonna be fun

Sure hope we can get the game finished by sunset if it's going to be 252 degrees.

Our Special Teams must be special. OSU is known to pull tricks and we need to be ready.

Maybe, just maybe, after 11 years of everyone and their dog running fake punts successfully on us, last week was the time that makes the coaches prepare for it. Maybe.

Or maybe not. Estridge and Denton sounded so defeated when Texas faked last week. Denton, iirc, said something along the lines of “everyone in the stadium knew that was coming.” Everyone except the TCU coaching staff.

When is the last time we successfully defended a fake anything?
My wife says anyone we play should fake every punt because we're always caught off guard.

OSU thread on Duggan and the game tomorrow. They seem pretty confident. Max is lackluster and our D-Line sucks.
