TCU women's basketball team to hold open tryouts after forfeiting games due to lack of healthy players

TCU’s women’s basketball team announced Wednesday that it was having to forfeit its next two games.

The Horned Frogs said they couldn’t play Wednesday night against No. 7 Kansas State or Saturday against No. 24 Iowa State because they didn’t have enough healthy players available. TCU is 14-4 overall and is 1-4 in the Big 12.

The shortage is dire enough that the program posted a call for open tryouts among full-time students to walk onto the team for the remainder of the season.

Carleton in Minnesota started the season with 10 players. Before the season started they were down to 6 healthy players for the season. They cancelled to the season. Injuries and other issues happen. I am shocked with how intense sports are getting it doesn't happen more often.

I want to hear more about the “massive feet issues.”
Is it issues with the feet and the issues are massive?
Is it issues with the feet and the feet are massive?
Is it issues because the feet are massive?
Were the feet previously not massive but they became massive suddenly?
Were the issues previously not massive but became massive suddenly?
Are the massive feet now requiring clown shoes?

There were a couple of Internet articles today asking whether Haley Cavinder might go ahead and suit up now.
If she is not enrolled as a student, probably not. She is probably not enrolling until fall. We most likely would prefer for her to use her eligibility on a fully rostered team rather than a skeleton team.
