Battle could have relieved Verrett.

He did for a couple of plays. Too much of the blame is going to our corners. Our safeties didn't even make into the stadium. Wrong scheme for the offensive fire power of Baylor - where was the zone coverage and LB and Safety blitz? When you have all day to throw the deep ball, corners cannot stick like glue.

All due respect to the earlier poster, but how could you watch the game last night and NOT see Cuba. He was on the field all night long. He and White actually played OK.

Battle was on the field on each kickoff. He made a few tackles including the first kickoff of the game where he decleated the returner.
