Useless polls put together by people that earn their keep through website visits and subscriptions. They will always include the big teams with big fan bases just to drive revenue.

Nothing to worry about - we can finish top ten from any starting position. This have been proven over and over. Just grow em up and win by one.

OU loses a lot but they'll still have a lot. IMO Rudolph was overrated so they might not fall off at QB as much as people think....they'll take a minor step back but still be decent. West Virginia loses quite a bit off their defense, I expect them to maybe be a little better than this year but not by much. Iowa State should be about the same but they won't sneak up on anyone anymore so the record might be worse.

One team who I think could be pretty good next year is K-State, and I'm usually a doubter of them. Minus a couple key guys, they return almost everyone and that QB looked decent. 2019 is when they'll take a major step back but next year they could be really dangerous.

I think that the loss of Mayfield will hurt OU much more than these poll makers think. Look for this to be Stoops last year. Without a fantastic QB like Mayfield to lead the offense, that defense will be too vulnerable. Those 62-52 wins will be 28-52 losses.

And as usual they are ranking TCU on who the Frogs lose. The only worrying losses to me was to lose 4 or 5 OL starters. Hopefully they can fill in with the talent they have been building up. Maybe that huge juco OL will be ready to start by September.
