Just saying, if it turns out to be a phased approach that other conferences take to poaching our teams, which appears to be the case, then there are moves out there which could help us keep the auto-bid.

Is it diluted, sure. Is it the most exciting, no. But it is a better place then where we're coming from - and that all that matters.

Recruits care about visibility, staying close to home, and the ability to play in big games. Two out of three ain't bad no matter who we are playing...

The football conference already sucks. If the best we can do is to get Navy and AF, then we are in trouble.
