The Players Championship is considered the one "major" of the Futures Tour. Bit of an oxymoron there, but it's the biggest event on that tour. Valentine not only won but posted the low round of the day from the final group, moving her into 3rd place on the Futures Tour money list. Gives her a great shot at earning her LPGA card (I think top 10 autoqualify without going to Q-school.)

With Brooke Beeler playing her first tourney on the LPGA last week and Angela Stanford continuing to rack up top tens (4 in 9 events), former Frogs are representing well on the pro circuits.
I think a lot of people don't realize how consistently good Stanford is -- she now stands 22nd on the LPGA's all-time money list.
