The Daily Californian: Cal rides late surges, seeks revenge in Fort Worth

When you first think of TCU and Cal squaring off, you might recall Cal football’s disastrous Cheez-It Bowl from 2018. Indeed, it was a game to forget for the blue and gold, who tossed five interceptions on the way to a painful 10-7 defeat.
The Horned Frogs, however, have a more recent — and arguably more devastating — history against the Bears on the baseball diamond. Last season, as the blue and gold chased a College World Series appearance behind a slew of dominant upperclassmen, TCU all but knocked Cal out of the running — delivering a crushing 13-2 loss in the NCAA Regionals.
