The Cypress Times: UH baseball preps for TCU in final non-conference series
HOUSTON, TX - The University of Houston baseball team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to take on No. 11 TCU this weekend for the Cougars's final non-conference series of the 2011 season. The series begins at 6:30 p.m. today, continues at 2 p.m. Saturday and concludes at 1 p.m. Sunday.
All three games of the series will air on The Mtn.-Mountain West Sports Network, while Friday and Saturday's contests will air on Comcast Sports Southwest (Channel 129). Check your local listings for channel information. Fans can also follow the entire contest through the gametracker link on the baseball schedule page at UHCougars.com. The online radio broadcast will also be available through the schedule page.
The Cougars (11-11) are looking to rebound this weekend after a 7-2 loss to No. 18 Rice in the first game of the Silver Glove Series at Reckling Park. Through 22 games this season, Matt Creel continues to lead the team at the plate with a .397 batting average. Senior Caleb Ramsey paces the team with nine doubles and 26 RBIs. ...
