I continue to say this team is loaded w talent but is afraid In the clutch. (And that includes the coaches). When the pressure is up in a game or the season, we seem to wilt and nobody seems able to step up and take over.

but man, when we get on a heater, we are top 10. Such an enigma.
Just sucks when Baylor's freshmen are more talented than anyone on our team.

Kinda feel like tonight’s loss may have been or could be a nail in the tourney hopes coffin. No idea. May still make it but this team won’t get out of the first round of it if it does.

Still wouldn’t trade JD’s tenure and where he has got us over anyone else in the last 20 years.

Lets see. Miller took a total of 6 shots. Hit his only 3 at the beginning of the 2nd half and didn't take another. Tennyson was 0-8 and 0-5 from 3 and couldn't guard me or RicksterH. Coaching.

I would love to see CJD try a zone D for once. I know he is committed to man 2 man D, but why not try something else when it is obvious we can't guard them?

Overstated.

This is still a team that should own a road win over Kansas, has beaten Houston, and won at Baylor.

Avoiding the bad loss at WVU is key, but a 2-1 finish will put us in the tournament. No reason to believe that we can't win in Provo given the other places where this team has won.

What a bummer of a performance. How is it possible to both get completely shut down every time you try to drive a lane and/or work something open with inside passing, and yet also have no open looks/repeatedly turn the ball over around the perimeter? We played like Baylor had seven guys on the floor whenever they were defending.

This team is good enough to win a few games in the tournament, but it's entirely matchup dependent. The first time we hit a team that can get in formation defensively quickly and defend lanes with strength and discipline, we're going home.

Surprisingly, now after two home games including a good win over 5-9 Cincinnati and an unpleasant showing in last night’s Baylor loss, the Frogs climb one seed to an 8 in Lunardi’s update this morning. On the surface it maybe appears nonsensical, climbing after last night‘s splat, but will take it.

Finish 3-0 (two road games including BYU next) and the Frogs might get that #6 seed.

BYU, Texas Tech and Texas all drop to 7, 7 and 10 while Bears and Sooners maintain at 4 and 8. UH, Kansas and Iowa State hold at 1, 2 and 3.

The 8-7 Frogs’ seeding compared to BYU (7-7), Tech (8-6), Oklahoma (7-7) and Texas’ (6-8) is leveling out.

In expected contentious games, BYU plays at Kansas tonight and they also travel to Iowa State next week. Baylor (9-6) plays Kansas and Texas at home and finishes with Tech on the road. Tech has Texas at home tonight and finishes with Baylor at home. I suppose Baylor and Tech are favored to finish 4th but the Frogs still have a chance.

Losing to Baylor last night isn't going to keep the Frogs out of the tournament.

They dropped Lunardi had them as a seventh seed heading in to Monday's game.
