Shreveport Times: La.Tech's Sonny Dykes has mixed memories of San Diego

The Louisiana Tech football team has the perfect tour guide this week in San Diego — head coach Sonny Dykes.
Wednesday's San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl against No. 16 TCU marks Dykes' third postseason game in San Diego. The second-year Bulldogs head coach previously coached in a pair of Holiday Bowls, which also are played at Qualcomm Stadium.
"One of the memories is a really, really good memory," Dykes said. "When I was at Texas Tech, we went and played a really good Cal team. Aaron Rodgers was the quarterback and we went out there and beat them. The other memory was a bad memory. I was at Arizona and we lost to Nebraska and they just killed us. I don't even remember the good one and I remember everything about the bad one. That's the nature of coaches." ...
