Shepard or Saunders?

Who gets Verrett's attention in this game? Both seem pretty lights out.

Isn't Saunders in the slot? He's 5'9", 157 lbs. He destroyed our LBs and safeties last year. 
 
So I would guess Shepard.

I think Saunders is the bigger threat by a slight margin. They're both really good with scary speed.

Verrett needs to be on Saunders. I watched Saunders at Fresno State too and he's the same player, lightning fast with such a smooth running style. But like our own Brandon Carter, he is extremely good at the double move and used it on Notre Dame.

I'm the first to back up Kevin White's game, but Jalen Saunders is a possible top 50 pick in the NFL draft according to kiper/mcshay. The best cornerback in the nation needs to be on him.

Saunders, no doubt.  He is an awesome college receiver.  Speed, hands, vision.  This should be a big test for Verrett, and a chance to impress some NFL scouts.
