SEC Country: Ja’Marr Chase hints he’s nearing decision between LSU, TCU

MANDEVILLE, La. — Ja’Marr Chase has yet to make a decision about where he will be playing college football. However, his deadline is nearing, so he understands that he’ll have to make up his mind — and soon.

Chase, the No. 2 wide receiver in Louisiana and No. 6 prospect in the state, is set to announce his commitment on July 2 at Nike’s “The Opening” Finals in Oregon.

The 4-star recruit from Archbishop Rummel (La.) High School just outside of New Orleans made a visit to LSU’s elite high school camp on Thursday, then sat down afterward with wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph and coach Ed Orgeron for a closed-door meeting. While Chase maintains that he’s still undecided, he hinted that he may be close to figuring out his destination after a crucial sit-down with the Tigers’ staff this past week.

LSU's offense is basically ground oriented....passing is occasionally utilized to break up the monotony.

The epitome of...."three yards and a cloud of dust".

Problem is, the LSU slime covers that entire state. They'll start by bribing dad with a better job at a LSU alums business and if that carrot isn't enough, whip out the stick and suddenly have the state government inspecting your home, business and bank accts looking for "irregularities"

It's disgusting but it's how the cesspool of LA runs.

There's a reason top LA talent that LSU really wants rarely goes out of state

Another reason is that LSU athletics is really, really popular with tons of t-shirt fans. Payola and pressure may or may not be significant (well, as significant as some say), but State pride and loyalty is a fact.

That said, darn LSU.
