Should Utah repeat its Mountain West Conference baseball tournament run of 2009, it won’t be quite be on the same level of miracle. The Utes were a sixth seed that season.
BYU coach Vance Law takes that as inspiration.
“Any team can win this,” he said. “We’ve seen it before.”
As a second seed this year, Utah receives a first-round bye as the tournament begins Tuesday at San Diego State’s Tony Gywnn Field. ...
