Great idea. Can’t repeat this enough. My dad was paratrooper, 11th airborne division, 511 signal company. New Guinea and Philippines. Came out 60% disabled which was increased to 100% later. They are almost all gone now but cannot forget.
Shadow's Band of Brothers suggestion is a great one. This year though, I chose to again watch Pacific. Unknowingly, with a nod to your Dad. The brutally of war depicted in Pacific is something that all should watch with head bowed.

Y’all ever seen the movie, The Grey with Liam Neeson? It’s a few years old now but caught it this weekend.

Holy hell, that’s just a constant kick to the groin...it will make you never ever ever EVER want to go outside in Alaska. Pretty good movie actually but very dark.

Juneau that it will be dark for up to 67 days in a row in Alaska. Probably explains the movie being dark.

True that.
It was a beating both figuratively & literally.

Some good Christian movies include:

Do You Believe?
Paul Apostle of Christ
Arn: The Knight Templar
The Case For Christ
An Interview With God

The following are also Christian based movies that are easy going movies similar to Hallmark movies where you can relax to them without the excessive drama of heathen movies:
Eternal Salvation
Time Changer
What If
Ruling of the Heart
