New helmets vs. Houston?

Purple chrome was the coolest helmet we've ever had IMHO and I can't remember the last time I've seen it.
Doesn't really work with purple jerseys but looks super clean when we wear black or white.
Bring it back!!!

IIRC, the first time I saw this helmet was @ Baylor in 2012, a 49-21 win. Don't know if that one had the lines all over it, though.

So much better than that thing we wore in the NCG That looked to non TcU fans like some kid discarded some string and it stuck to a random helmet.

Kinda disappointed that the silver frog was not a crisp image unless close up.

Unless it's a closeup, they didn't look much better on tv than they did from our seats in second deck. Too reflective. I'd prefer they be a light gray in stead of shiny silver.
