NBC 5: Buffalo Bills Fans Thank TCU Grad Andy Dalton With Donations to Help Fort Worth Kids

TCU alum Andy Dalton's dramatic last-minute touchdown pass Sunday for the Cincinnati Bengals is being felt from Fort Worth to Buffalo.

Dalton threw a 49-yard touchdown to Tyler Boyd with 44 seconds left to beat the Baltimore Ravens, allowing the Buffalo Bills to secure the final wild-card spot in the AFC.

The Bills are now going to the playoffs for the first time since 1999, ending the longest active postseason drought in North America's four major professional sports.

In a tweet posted at about 8 p.m. Monday, the Bills said that more than 2500 fans have donated a combined $57,000 to Dalton's foundation.

A fantastic epilogue to the otherwise sorta dismal story that was this season for Dalton and the Bengals.
