Not sure if Michigan State was expected to sign anyone tomorrow but if so there has to be some kids really scrambling. At least he didn't do it the day after so they at least have a chance to reconsider.

He been getting crushed by alumni who are upset he won't fire some of his offensive staff....Sound familiar...Dantonio has far more in common with GP than many of us want to admit. In fact its rare that you don't hear their names brought up in the same conversation when comparing tendencies and programs.

They are the same program as we are for sure. Good defense every year but only has good seasons when the offense does its part as well.

Coach D has off the field issues that chased him out. He was heavily criticized for recruiting a DE who had an iffy history. He ended up in the state pen after raping a teammate’s girlfriend. Couple other players were arrested, too. Now the NCAA is coming after some alleged recruiting violations, too.

He is leaving because the buzzards are circling.

This has nothing to do with his offense and everything to do with the mounting evidence of recruiting improprieties and off-field conduct that the NCAA is investigating.

This is almost a Briles situation.

Per ESPN:

Dantonio's actions in addressing other sexual assault cases were also the subject of a January 2018 Outside the Lines report stating that since Dantonio's tenure began in 2007, at least 16 Michigan State football players had been accused of sexual assault or violence against women, according to interviews and public records obtained by Outside the Lines.

Yes, Michigan State is 2nd on my hate list, right behind Baylor. Big mess in the football and basketball programs and the gymnastics physician on top.

Maybe it has something to do with green?
