Fatburger might be the greatest burger I've ever tasted. I was in Columbia, Maryland a few years back and spotted a Fatburger in a strip mall not knowing what it was. It changed my life. Phenomenal.

Made the drive a couple times. Some parts are fun and others - drive as fast as you can without getting caught.

IF you are heading through El Paso, role up your windows when you hit the NM border. There were a lot of cattle pens along the highway which were not pleasant being downwind.

If the option is there, take the high road, leave a day or two early and hit Vegas first. Can probabaly get a room for under $50 a night at the Hooters Casino and Hotel.
