OXFORD -- Ole Miss will play host to a Big 12 opponent next season, but it may not help the Rebels' RPI all that much.
 
TCU will play Ole Miss at Tad Smith Coliseum on Dec. 4 as part of the second SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Horned Frogs, though, were 9-22 last season and finished No. 216 in the RPI.
 
The game will be on an ESPN network, which will be announced at a later date.
 
All 10 Big 12 teams will play in the event, along with 10 of the 14 teams from the Southeastern Conference. ...

Very true. However, the frogs did win their SEC game against Mississippi State last year even with the 216 RPI.
