Ignore threads feature

I like to use the Unread Threads tab that shows all unread across all forums, but there are certain threads that I either don't or prefer to actively avoid. Similar to being able to ignore a specific user, do we have the ability to ignore threads? If not, is there a way that we can we add it?

The board software does have a paid add on that can do this, but can you give me an example of a thread you'd need to put on ignore?

Ok, that add on also includes an ignore forum option so you could just ignore the pit all together. Let me check to make sure we’re running the required stack and get a blessing from the boss. I’ll get back to this when I have an answer.
