Stillwater, Okla. – The TCU women's tennis team is prepped for the Big 12 Championships this week from April 17-20 at Michael & Anne Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater, Okla.
TCU is the seventh seed and will play Kansas State in the first round of the tournament Wednesday, April 17. First serve is set for 12 p.m. The winner of the match will take on Texas in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

TCU enters the conference tournament with the programs best regular season in the Big 12 era under its belt. The Frogs finish off the regular season 12-8 overall, with a 7-6 conference record, tied for the most amount of wins the Frogs have ever recorded in the Big 12.
Destinee Martins finishes off the regular season 11-4, going 7-2 in conference play. She is tied for the greatest number of singles wins this season for the team with Otway (11-7) and Pascual (11-5). Martins also led the team in conference wins, going 7-2 in Big 12 play. The senior moved up to No. 78 in the ITA rankings on Tuesday, April 16.
Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual enter the tournament ranked for the first time this season at No. 64. Pascual and Otway finish off the season leading the team in doubles wins both overall and in-conference, going 11-5 overall and 6-4 in conference.
