FORT WORTH - No. 3 TCU returns to conference action this week as it hits the road for a three game series at West Virginia. The Horned Frogs hold a two-game lead in the league standings at 8-1 over a 6-3 Mountaineer squad. Friday's series opener will be televised on FCS-Atlantic starting at 5:30 p.m. (CT).

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU has moved up to No. 2 in one poll, while remaining steady at No. 3 in the others.
• TCU has matched its longest winning streak under the guidance of Jim Schlossnagle to 13 games with a 9-3 victory over Dallas Baptist on Tuesday.
• TCU’s pitching staff continues to lower its ERA, lowering it to 3.25, a mark that ranks third in the Big 12.
• Luken Baker’s seventh home run of the year pushed TCU’s home run total to 30, tying for the Big 12 lead.
Luken Baker stretched his hitting streak to 13 games, while Elliott Barzilli extended his to 10.

#WINNING
The Horned Frogs have rattled off 13 straight victories since a 4-3 loss to Kansas on March 19. It’s the second-longest active streak in the nation behind Oregon State’s 23 game streak.

TCU has been getting it done in all facets of the game, hitting .303 as a team, pitching to the tune of a 2.09 ERA and fielding at a .976 clip.

Austen Wade leads the offensive surge with a .449 average (22-for-49). Evan Skoug leads the way with 18 RBIs during the streak.

On the mound, Brian Howard leads the way with a trio of victories, while Jared Janczak has posted a minuscule 0.86 ERA. Durbin Feltman has four saves. The staff is limiting opponents to a .202 batting average.

SPEEDY FROGS
TCU has been successful in 11 of its last 11 stolen bases over the last four games bringing its season total to 60. The Frogs have swiped multiple bags in a game 17 times this year. TCU is undefeated in those contests.

The Frogs pace the Big 12 and rank 11th nationally with 60 total stolen bases. The 71 stolen base attempts are also tops in the Big 12.

Nolan Brown leads the league and ranks 12th nationally with 17 stolen bases. Austen Wade also boasts double-digit steals with 10. Eleven other Frogs have at least one stolen base.

BASH BROTHERS
TCU is tied for first in the Big 12 with 30 home runs this season. Ten Horned Frogs have contributed to the 30 long balls.

Seventeen of the home runs have come with runners on base, including a trio of grand slams, the most since the 2010 campaign. Luken Baker leads the team with seven followed closely by Evan Skoug’s five.

In the three seasons prior to 2016, the Frogs had hit a combined 54 home runs spanning 189 games. In its last 92 games played, TCU has racked up 85 home runs.
