FORT WORTH, Texas -- The 3-pointers were flying on a record-setting day at Schollmaier Arena as the TCU women's basketball team cruised to a 112-62 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday.

TCU (7-2) broke a school record and tied a Big 12 record with 18 3-pointers as a team. Eleven of those came from Amber Ramirez who broke the TCU and Big 12 individual records on her way to a career-high 33 points.

The game featured 30 3-pointers combined as Southeastern Louisiana (1-7) hit 12 itself, including 10 in the first half. The Lady Lions shooting kept the game close at halftime, but TCU outscored Southeastern 62-17 in the second half as the Lions made just 7-of-37 shots in the last 20 minutes.

Ramirez led five Frogs that scored in double figures. Amy Okonkwo had 15 points and has hit double figures in all but one game this season. Jordan Moore added 10 points and 12 rebounds for her first double-double this season and the seventh of her career. Toree Thompson (11) and Lauren Heard (10) rounded out the double-figure scoring for TCU.

Defining Moments
It didn't take long to realize what type of game it was going to be. Ramirez hit from distance on three of the Frogs first six possessions on her way to 15 first-quarter points. Southeastern, however, went shot for shot with TCU in first half and the Frogs led by just five points, 50-45, at halftime.

TCU grew the lead to 12 points midway through the third quarter, then a 14-0 run really blew the game open at 77-53 with 1:19 to go in the third quarter. In all in the second half, TCU made 21-of-35 shots (60 percent), including 9-of-17 from long range. On the other end, Southeastern made just 7-of-37 (19 percent) overall and 2-of-15 from deep.

The Frogs outscored the Lady Lions 31-8 and 31-9 in the third and fourth quarter, respectively.

Stats of the Game
18 -- The Frogs 18 3-pointers came just four days after making a season-low two at Texas A&M. In addition to Ramirez's 11 from deep, Toree Thompson and Mikayla Christian each had three and Amy Okonkwo added one.

Quotes of the Game
"Obviously this was a big 3-point shooting game, and I'm just glad that we hit six more. The way they (Southeastern) opened up the game 10-of-20 was really a test for us. At halftime we challenged ourselves to get tougher, to take it personally and come out more aggressive defensively on and off the ball. I'm proud of our second-half effort." -- Raegan Pebley

Up Next
The Frogs will have a full week between games to concentrate on final exams. TCU will be back on the court next Sunday, Dec. 17, when it welcomes Northwestern State to Schollmaier Arena for another 2 p.m. game.
