GoFrogs: TCU Pounds Texas Tech 73-52 in Home Finale
FORT WORTH – TCU wrote the newest chapter in its longstanding rivalry with Texas Tech on Wednesday, routing the Lady Raiders 73-52 inside Schollmaier Arena.

Sedona Prince and Agnes Emma-Nnopu finished with double-doubles in a game TCU led for all but 22 seconds and by as many as 25 points early in the fourth quarter.

The Horned Frogs outrebounded the Lady Raiders 47-28 and finished with a 38-6 advantage in points in the paint. TCU limited Texas Tech to 29 percent shooting (18-62) and just seven made field goals inside the arc. The Lady Raiders' clip from the field was their second-lowest in a game this season.

TCU moved to 19-9 and 6-11 in Big 12 play ahead of Saturday's regular season finale at No. 24 West Virginia. The Horned Frogs likely locked up the No. 9 seed and a first round by the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship with Wednesday's win.

The victory was all the more significant in that it made Mark Campbell the winningest first-year head coach in program history. No other TCU head coach has won more games in their first season in purple and white. TCU's present 11-game year-over-year win improvement is also the second-highest in its 47-season history.

Prince paired with 29 points and 11 boards – both of which were game-highs – with five blocks in just her second game back from a seven-week injury absence. The performance signified Prince's 11th double-double in 16 outings.

Emma-Nnopu tallied 11 points and pulled down 10 rebounds – eight offensive – to secure her second double-double in as many outings. Her eight offensive boards matched her career-high and were the second-most in a game by any Division I guard this season.

Madison Conner gave TCU three scorers in double figures, collecting 13 points and a game-high six assists. She finished 3-7 behind the arc.

Prince powered home 10 first quarter points and staked TCU to an early 21-11 lead.

TCU closed the first half on a 12-2 run, holding the Lady Raiders (16-14, 5-12 Big 12) scoreless over the final 3:18 to double up Texas Tech 42-21.

The Horned Frogs turned the ball over just twice in the first half. Texas Tech shot it 26 percent and managed just three buckets from inside.

Prince's 25th point of the night gave TCU its largest lead at 60-35 with 7:11 to go in the ballgame.

Conner's third 3-pointer arrived with 3:01 remaining and preserved TCU's 25-point edge. It was her 87th three of the season, tying Zahna Medley (2015-16) for the most ever in a season by a TCU player.

TCU finished with 16 offensive rebounds, its most in a game this season.

The 21-point margin of victory was TCU's largest in a Big 12 game in four seasons.
