GoFrogs: TCU at Kansas State Baseball Preview

At times, these K-State home announcers sound like petulant children. When the Cats are at bat, they bicker about ball & strike calls. When TCU is at the plate and gets exactly the same calls, they praise K-State pitching. They say TCU batters slow down the game by taking too long to get to the plate, and that Klecker throws over to 1st too much (when there is a KSU runner who's obviously setting up a steal attempt). It's kind of comical, but it's also lame and cheesy and and really makes K-State look small-time.

Make the opposing pitcher throw 105 pitches in 4 2/3 innings and score 2 runs.
That is really hard to do. He never should have made it out of the 2nd.

Home plate ump rings up Boyers on the check swing but missed the ball hitting his foot.

If there was any question, why didn't they review it?
Hard to complain too much, though, when we got a run on the wild pitch. Had Boyers been awarded 1st, there's no guarantee we would have gotten that run via the next batter. We strand more runners than the New York Marathon.

Please have someone up and ready because it can go south on Kole in a hurry at this point. The trouble is WHO? Guessing Luke. Lost so many chances to give him a cushion and stretch him out.

Missed it. Was making a Chilli dog. What happened?
Or are you talking about the foul ball?
slow roller called out at first.Nunez tries to go from first to. third, called out there on throw from first baseman.. But out at first was the third out. We challenge the call at first. But if overturned you still have third out at third base

Which is why it wasn't a good challenge. The batter was definitely out at 1st, but had he been safe, Davis was also out at 3rd -- so there was really no point in making that challenge.

The bases were loaded. The runner would have been forced home.
