GoFrogs: Frogs Fall to No. 15 Bears, 62-54
FORT WORTH - In a low scoring affair, No. 15 Baylor topped TCU, 62-54, Monday night at Schollmaier Arena.

Offense was hard to come by as both teams shot under 40 percent from the field and had 14 or more turnovers. There were four ties and nine lead changes, but all in the first half.

The Horned Frogs (19-9, 8-7) started the game with two impressive dunks by Xavier Cork and Jameer Nelson Jr. in the first three minutes of play. Baylor (20-8, 9-6) led 25-23 at halftime after a JaKobe Coles shot was waived off at the buzzer.

Baylor never surrendered the lead in the second half. TCU cut it to one-point, three times in the first three minutes of the half, but Baylor's zone defense caused problems for the Horned Frogs who shot 33.3 percent from the field, which included several scoring droughts. Baylor didn't fare much better at 37.7 percent.

The Bears led by as many as 18 points with 9:53 to play. The Horned Frogs scored the last eight points of the game to trim the final deficit to eight.

Nelson led the Frogs with 11 points and four assists. Emanuel Miller added 10 points and five rebounds.

TCU will next play at BYU on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
