FORT WORTH – TCU completed the season series sweep of Dallas Baptist with a 5-2 win on Tuesday night at Lupton Stadium. Sam Myers and Kurtis Byrne drove in two runs each, while six Horned Frog pitchers held the Patriots to just four hits on the night.

The Rundown
TCU got the scoring started early with a run on three hits in the first. Kurtis Byrne singled home Karson Bowen for a 1-0 lead. Two walks in the second proved costly for the Patriots as Sam Myers came through with a two-out, two-run triple for a 3-0 lead.

Myers was hit by a pitch to open the fifth which was followed by a Bowen base hit. The Frogs played situational baseball and Byrne collected his second RBI of the night with a groundout to short for a 4-0 lead.

Another free pass to open an inning, this time a walk to Jack Arthur, turned into a 5-0 TCU lead. He was standing on third with one out and again, the Frogs executed with an RBI-groundout from Peyton Chatagnier.

DBU's lone runs came courtesy of a two run home run in the seventh to account for the final scores.
