GoFrogs: TCU Falls Short in First Round of NCAA Championship

GULF SHORES, Ala. – In their fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship, No. 6 TCU fell 3-2 to No. 11 LSU in the first round on Friday.

Hailey Hamlett/Anhelina Khmil and Olivia Clines/Anete Namike scored points against the Tigers. Hamlett and Khmil were the only duo to complete their point in two sets with a straight-set victory from the No. 1 spot.

Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil scored the first point of the day for the Frogs in a straight-set victory: 21-17, 21-18.
• The dynamic duo for TCU ends with a record of 23-3, all from court one.
• Individually, Hamlett ends the season with a record of 30-6, garnering the most wins this season by a Horned Frog. Khmil follows behind her at second with a record of 29-7.

Tara Patton and Morgan Williams finished second from the No. 4 spot: 21-17, 17-21, 9-15.

Sutton MacTavish and Alex Parkhurst finished third from court two: 15-21, 21-16, 14-16.
