FWST: TCU women scolded at halftime, rally to beat Sam Houston State

The TCU women's basketball team overcome a horrible first-half shooting performance to defeat Sam Houston State 60-49 on Sunday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Horned Frogs (5-5) trailed 31-23 at the break after shooting just 23.5 percent from the field, 16.7 percent on 3-pointers and going more than eight minutes without making a field goal in the first half.
"Two things we ask the players to do is play hard and play unselfish, and we go into half with one assist and get outrebounded," TCU coach Jeff Mittie said. "I told them at halftime that if they were going to wear TCU across their chest then I expect them to play hard and play unselfish."
