TCU follows big win with big thud at Vanderbilt

TCU basketball followed up its momentous Big Monday win against No. 7 West Virginia with a thud Saturday afternoon.
The Horned Frogs fell behind early and lost to Vanderbilt 81-78 Saturday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee, in a game where TCU didn’t go to the free throw line once.
Vanderbilt (8-13), which was averaging 70.9 points a game, was led by Riley LaChance with 24 points, five rebounds and four assists. Jeff Roberson had 20 points. Combined the Commodores were 17 of 26 from the field, including 7 of 13 from 3-point range.
