Starr Crawford sat alone in TCU's darkened locker room Dec. 8 as the weight of two immense issues bore down on her.
A concussion she sustained after a shot to her jaw at Fresno State on Dec.4 had sidelined her for the Horned Frogs game with UT-Arlington that evening.
And then there was the news that her grandmother had died in Indiana.
