Do Big 12 commissioner’s brazen remarks all but confirm they are out to get Texas and OU?

Having secured the future of the Big 12 for the foreseeable future, Brett Yormark can do, and say, whatever he wants.

He decided to take that power for a test drive this week, not on a private road course, but rather in public, within range of a camera phone.

The Big 12 commissioner was in Lubbock on Wednesday attending the annual Red Raider kickoff luncheon at the Memorial Civic Center, where he was the guest of honor.

“When that holding call goes against Texas, or after Oklahoma is penalized 18 times for 144 yards compared to the three times for 12 yards for Iowa State, everything Burnt Orange and all things Crimson and White will howl that this injustice is at the order of King Yormark.”

Well, let those [ mother farger ]s howl, because we all know how those calls have gone the other direction for so many years…

Not so much penalize TCU, but an attempt to get the best for remaining members in a bad situation for them.

And some of us hope that institutional memory at TCU will keep the slight in mind . . . indefinitely.

Certainly UTx/OU/SEC will react the same way, if the B12 does something brazen such as switching game venues to try for an advantage over the departing team(s).

Was I supposed to type something here?
Reading Mac is like living with a abusive husband. Enjoy the days he comes home sober and happy, because there are plenty of beatings ahead.

Unfortunately, we can't divorce him.
True. But we can ignore him, and ignore his worthless drivel. The worthless crapsack lives for attention. Don't give it to him.

Imagine having it out for someone that tried to murder you, seems plausible.

Surely they saw it coming. If they don’t like the treatment; then they should have purchased the upgraded OUT clause for $150m that included civil treatment.

Freakin’ cockroaches, get the hell out.

Actually I think Mack has had a run of some pretty good articles going back to spring but does anything scream pearl-clutching more than the use of the word ‘brazen?’

Did the Mountain West try to penalize us when we told them we were leaving?
Hell yes!
Big deal. Suck it up guys!!!
And get lost.
And remember in 1998 TCU's invite to the Sun Bowl was directly related to the WAC Breakaway/Airport Al Yates & company decision to form the MWC. The ElPaso folks just didn't like the outcome that hurt UTEP and influenced the choice of TCU over a ColoSt team with a better record/better geography.

That Sun Bowl game W vs. USC was the real beginning of the new TCU Horned Frog Football fortunes after a 3 decade slumber.

Hey...I like being a "cockroach" - a thorn in UTs side!

Now with UCF we need to be concerned about Palmetto bugs. A Florida staple, they are big, ugly and can fly. With global warming we're seeing them now in Northern Va. They're armoured and you can't kill them with a fly swatter!:(
