FS1 Ad Breaks?

Not just the number of ad breaks, but the length of them.

Would flip back and forth and a game on ESPN would be in play, go to commercial, and come back from commercial before Fox was back to the game.

Absolutely miserable. Felt like there were more commercial breaks than darning football.

I understand that advertisers are the ones that drive all the revenue, but good God, this has gotten out of hand. Ruining the damn game.

You guys obviously never experienced Raycom broadcasts in the SWC. This has been a problem since way back to the early 90s. CFB games are not 4 hours just because the clock stop on 1st downs. The big issue is the number and length of "red hat" time.

FS1 is the absolute worst hands down ever.. in terms of frequency and amount of commercial breaks.

It is however literally the price we pay for having every game broadcasted. There are so many channels now that advertising dollars are diluted to the point where networks have to run so many more then usual to get the same revenue.

We intercept Grier and run it back to midfield. Next play great pass to Reagor for the long touchdown. Momentum clearly in our favor. Then refs talk for 2 minutes, review the replay on the touchdown, confirm it, extra point then 4 minute Fox commercial break. It was close to 10 minutes from TD to kickoff. Any momentum gained was gone. Any energy built up in stadium was gone.

It should have been a chance to step on their necks.
