Baylor is Trash.
I have a bad feeling about this season. I got the feeling that Schloss was trying to temper our expectations at the Frogdom Lunch.

Hope I’m wrong.

He should temper them a bit. We lost a lot but he'll put a good team on the field

I got the opposite impression. I gathered that he was really excited about his rotation/staff amd expects them to win him a lot of games. If he gets offense from half the new guys he'll have a special group.

Now that I think about it, it was mostly the offense that I felt like he was hesitant on. I don’t feel as worried.

I would think that expectations for the offense should definitely be tempered with all the new guys, especially early in the year. We still have Luken in the middle of the lineup though, so if just a couple others can step up and be consistent threats then the offense should be good enough to win lots of games with that pitching.

Who knows, though. Maybe as the year progresses we find a lineup that works and we can be just average enough to make it to Omaha again.
