We had over 1,600 students purchase a ticket. No surprise that we had tremendous demand from our students.

We received 500 discounted student tickets at $85 each. The remaining 1,100+ tickets were at the $185 price. All student tickets come from our 13,000 allotment. This also impacts how the allocation process is determined for all non-student tickets.

To determine who received the discounted ticket, priority was based on

1. Student Frog Club membership (prior to Dec . 1)

2. Priority points among Student Frog Club members.

3. Classification (senior, junior….)

Same process will be used for National Championship ticket request for students. The difference will be the price. Thanks to Taco Bell promotion, we have 500 FREE student tickets. The rest will be $450 each.

Duggan has said multiple times how much the team thrives off of the spirit of the student section. I am biased, but per capital student enrollment, TCU has the best student section in the country. They bring it the whole game! Thrilled so many of them will be at the game!

Not sure the students showed up much between 19 and 21 - but then again nobody wanted to watch those teams that missed a bowl game.

Very few recent students and young alumni become season ticket holders

This is just crazy on the secondary market right now. I got my tickets the day the playoff teams were officially announced on Stubhub for $285 each in section 420. I thought that was high, but five days later tickets in that same section are now between $612-$654 each. Crazy!

I think everything in section 420 should be high.

Partly due to the excellent seats the students have our student attendance has always been good. This year has been off the charts, especially the involvement in cheers, etc. same at basketball, especially conference games. They are great.
