DMN: Fort Worth still wooing ESPN for TCU, Cowboys after Super Bowl XLV

FORT WORTH — ESPN left Sundance Square three weeks ago, but Fort Worth officials are still wooing the sports network.
David DuBois, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, said Tuesday that a trip to ESPN’s Connecticut headquarters is already planned for the next month.
Not content to wait for another Super Bowl, DuBois said that he and other Fort Worth officials will pitch the network on return visits for College GameDay telecasts of Texas Christian University games and also for Monday Night Football games at Cowboys Stadium.
“We’re going to talk to them about a long-term relationship,” said DuBois, speaking to the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Council. “They love Fort Worth so this now becomes a long-term business opportunity.” ...
