Devonte "I oughta blast you!" Fields: "[I] wish I never went to TCU"

You would have performed well in most literature classes I ever took. Being able to "feel" alternative meanings beyond the obvious was a real asset in those classes. My hunch is that you want to feel this way. If this was the intent of the tweet, it would still be published.
Whatever you say,

Maybe he realized it didn't come out as he intended and he took it down. I have no idea, but that's how I read it. Not gonna loose sleep over it either way.

He meant to say, "I wish I had gone to Baylor" instead of "I wish I hadn't gone to TCU". Misjudged the difference in accountability.

It's not uncommon for those who are derelict in following the rules of society to lash out at

others in order to justify their own failures and misfortune.

I agree

He's from the metroplex, so I'm guessing he ended up running with his HS crowd while at TCU? And he's thinking that if he had gotten farther from home, maybe some if his troubles wouldn't have happened.

He's still not accepting his responsibility for his actions, which is unfortunate, but I wouldn't be shocked if his Tweet about TCU wasn't so much blaming TCU itself.

Maybe he should try explaining his tweet? That would take 30 seconds of his time.

Yeah, at 23 he's still a kid. Not a fluke that car insurance rates are high for males up to 25. He is just beginning to emotionally grow up. 23 is very young.

I feel like he is saying " if I was not ever at TCU, my "troubles" would have never happened". He made mistakes and is paying heavily for them. I don't think he hates TCU

The Baylol Dog Beater has not been drafted yet. I guess you just can't abuse important things in your life, like your woman and your dog.

I was a fan of his until he went south. Sucks for him, if I remember correctly, part of his problem were some of the bad influences from his high school days that were still hanging around the metroplex/TCU. I'm guessing he has some remorse about staying close to those folks as well as just the bad choices he made here. Doesn't help that his high school teammate went #1.
