Okay, Vic,
The credits remaining from the Rose Bowl and Peach Bowl goodwill bank are long gone. We are well on our way to the bottom...not the league championship, not the upper tier, not the middle, but the bottom tier. If you don't like seeing Amon Carter with mostly fans from the opposing team, you better start listening to someone other than GP.

First, it was GP's refusal to shakeup his offensive staff.
Then, it was GP letting his assistants on the defensive side atrophy.
Next, it was some crazy ass shuffle of the offensive staff by bringing in his best man and bringing back a guy he fired a few years ago to run the offense.

Now, only a win over KU can stand in our way from the bottom, and that is far from a sure thing.

Vic, don't fall for any more of his excuses. And don't let GP talk you in to some dumbass scheme to give him an extension. If you listen to GP, he'll talk you into an extension, a raise, a guarantee for his assistants, and require you to hire Jerry Kill as his replacement (sarcasm intended). Seriously, work out a retirement, give him a big parade and do it soon, so you can give your AD trainee enough time to wake up and hire a new coach. Oh yes, you sure as hell, better make sure your AD trainee hires a damn good search firm because he doesn't know what the hell he's doing and we don't have time to train him how to do this.

The whole damn TCU football world knows this needs to happen, Vic.....and so does most of the college football world. So, unfortunately, it's all on you now, big guy. It ain't fun to have to make this decision, but it's got to be done....and you know it. Don't do a GP and ride your big salary all the way to the bottom.

That is all.

Having lived near TCU for 30 years now, I have to say that VB has done a yeoman"s job of building a great and beautiful University. I give him complete credit. He also took a leadership role with Del Conte, Patterson et. al., and we had Rose Bowls and CWS....It was fantastic, having gone from a desperate situation.

VB is nearing retirement, his kids have completd their free education, he's done his job, and looks forward to his afternoon nap. He deserves that, but don't think he has the energy or desire to cause a complete revampment of the athletic programmes at this late career stage.
