Surprised he's already getting the degree. Must have been busting his hump in the classroom to get it done that quickly. Good on him.
I know that I’m going to incur plenty of wrath with this comment but I don’t think we’ll miss Kevin all that much. If the JuCo is as good as the coaches think then he will more than make up for Kevin.
He did not play as a freshman because of some kind of issues with his transcript from the island he came from. The high school was destroyed by a hurricane. He played three years but has another year of eligibility in addition to the extra year all received because of the virus.
I do have a gut feel either he or Newbhard will return because I do not think either are NBA ready.

When has any juco - especially a big man juco - ever been as good as advertised?I know that I’m going to incur plenty of wrath with this comment but I don’t think we’ll miss Kevin all that much. If the JuCo is as good as the coaches think then he will more than make up for Kevin.

DittoI wish the big man all the success in the world. He took advantage of the things he was given access to, and has made the most of his opportunities. I wish we had many more kids like him.
The film on souleymane says at the very least he is athletically able to compete, and thrive, at this level. Whether his skills can, idk.vlad? nailon?
both put up numbers in juco and then did more at tcu

Unless we count the G-League.I would be shocked if he ever played one second of NBA basketball.
