Andy Dalton's quarterback rating

Congrats to Andy Dalton on his first two NFL starts.
It's a tremendous showing by a quarterback who was not even part of the Heisman race last year. Why! Because of the school he was associated with. It's a slap in the face of two players who have national trophies given out each year with their names. The Sammy Baugh Award was won by a sophmore Larry Jones and Davey O'brian Award won by Cam Newton.

Andy eclipsed their stats and is now the quarterback the younger players will dream to be. Yes the same quarterback that helped win against the dreaded Wisconsin Badgers last year. You know the team I'm talking about! The national power by name only! :tongue:

Anyway here is the list of all NFL quarterbacks and Andy is at number eight and number seven is Tony Romo. By the way Cam Newton is at #16. :rolleyes:

And Scott Tolzien got the Unitas award for a Senior QB, but at least Andy got to show his superiority in a head to head battle. Not even close (even though the score was)!

That's nice for the first two weeks, but it's a marathon, not a sprint.

By the end of the year, he'll make Scam look pretty bad...
