TCU WR/return specialist Derius Davis selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Chargers

TCU’s Derius Davis continued a strong 2023 NFL Draft for the Horned Frogs on Saturday as he was selected in the fourth round by the Los Angeles Chargers. Davis was selected with the No. 125 overall pick in the draft.
Davis is the fifth TCU player to have his name called in the draft, joining Quentin Johnston, Steve Avila, Kendre Miller and Dylan Horton. Davis is the fourth offensive player to get drafted and will join Johnston in Los Angeles, who was the Chargers first round selection.
Regarded as one of the fastest players in all of college football, Davis ran a 4.37 at the NFL Combine, which was good enough for top five among the receivers. Davis is also regarded as the top returner in college football, winning the Jet Award, given annually to the nation’s top return specialist.
