TCU tight end Drake Dabney talks Frogs' spring camp

TCU landed nearly 20 players from the transfer portal in the off-season and one of the biggest additions was former Baylor tight end Drake Dabney. Dabney is being tasked to replace All-Big 12 tight end Jared Wiley.
Dabney has some skills himself.
After hauling in 16 catches for 173 yards as a junior in 2022, Dabney had a breakout season in 2023 for the Bears. Dabney played in all 12 games for the Bears and hauled in 33 catches for 552 yards with 5 touchdowns. His yardage total marked a single-season school record for tight ends at Baylor. His best game of the year came against Texas State where he hauled in 6 catches for 101 yards and two scores. He also hauled in 4 catches for 77 yards in the loss against TCU. Dabney was nameds All-Big 12 honorable-mention in 2023.
